I just received a Unity yesterday for my birthday! I set it up last night and hope to play around with it more this evening. I am new to this site but hope to learn a lot :)

I saw the unity yesterday and looked at some of the designs it stitched out. I was kind of suprised at it's size. This machine is huge too me. Double the size of my Symphony. She said it will do a max. of 7"X12" embroidery hoop size. It was a nice loooking machine, I didn't have her turn it on because I don't have it on my radar. I think I will upgrade to the Spirit - (If it is still around when I have the money) I am not seing anyone talk about it, so there must not be much love for it. LOL

I'm Loving it so far. I've stitched out 3 designs but have no way of posting them for you to see. This is one Happy Birthday present from my husband.

I just purchased one before Christmas. So far I love it. Sews like a dream, but haven't used the embroidery unit as yet. Still need to take some lessons. One thing I am unhappy about, no hard cover to travel with or storage for extra feet that comes with machine or protective case for embroidery unit. Going back to dealer tomorrow to ask about this issue. Hope they have a good answer for me. Cost was very expensive for me, but as I am in my mid 60's thought I'd spend the money and not leave to my kids, lol.

What is the general price of this machine? Are there any accessories you NEED to buy to get the best results? How much are they?
