Cricut for sewing

Most of them look like they are for paper - Does anyone have suggestions on the best one for the money that would also be good for sewing projects? Thanks in advance for the help!

I would not recommend the cricut for cutting fabric.. but the sizzix die cutter.. or the cuttlebug type die cutters will work on some fabrics.. Hope that helps.. The downside can be the price of the die cuts.. especially if you only want to cut out a certain design once.

I can certainly go look at one and tell you what I think when I have time. That machine is one of the newer ones on the market. So havent' heard much yet about it. and hate to comment on a machine I do not own.

It is similar to the Sizzix machines in which you would put the fabric (instead of paper) on the die and then roll it through the machine to punch the fabric out. If you go in the Quilter's Corner of the message board section here on PR there have been some discussions about the machine. Hope that helps, Stacey
