Instructions for fusible nylon tricot interfacing? wrote to seller (Fabric Mart), but would love to try this weekend

I wrote to Fabric Mart, but don't expect a response this weekend. It's not a big deal if it goes wrong, as it's a small piece, but no harm in asking, right? (I hope not, anyway.) I understand the general principles, and how to get the glue on the fabric rather than on the iron. I will also try to steam shrink it a little before fusing. Specifically, I'm not sure what temperature setting to use on the iron, how long to press, and whether to use a damp or dry press cloth. Unless I hear otherwise, I'll go for the "wool" setting, ten seconds, and damp press cloth, and adjust if necessary. TIA, Liz ------ Twitter: @SewKnitStash

Try a test piece on a scrap of your garment fabric first. My guess is it will work out fine. ------ marjoriekh

I use a wool (or lower) setting, fuse from the fabric side (rather than the tricot side because it might melt) and hold it down for 10 seconds, and use no steam or a press cloth. ------ "We don't impose our rhythm on Nature.
