Date: 10/13/12 1:39 PM Silly me; just realized I don't have instructions for the interfacing I was about to try using. I wrote to Fabric Mart, but don't expect a response this weekend. It's not a big deal if it goes wrong, as it's a small piece, but no harm in asking, right? (I hope not, anyway.)
I understand the general principles, and how to get the glue on the fabric rather than on the iron. I will also try to steam shrink it a little before fusing.
Specifically, I'm not sure what temperature setting to use on the iron, how long to press, and whether to use a damp or dry press cloth. Unless I hear otherwise, I'll go for the "wool" setting, ten seconds, and damp press cloth, and adjust if necessary.
TIA,

Date: 10/13/12 4:39 PM I have a ton of that fusible tricot from Fabric Mart; in all sorts of colors. I use a wool (or lower) setting, fuse from the fabric side (rather than the tricot side because it might melt) and hold it down for 10 seconds, and use no steam or a press cloth. ------ "We don't impose our rhythm on Nature.
