Finding warm toned yet light sweater knits my annual problem

My coloring is warm but cannot handle the intensity of fall colors, and cool winter colors that aren't ultra saturated make me look at best like a floating head and at worst like a zombie. So half the year I end up either cold or wearing colors I hate. I found a really pretty camel wool knit last year at Denver Fabrics, but DH felted that accidentally and when I went back this week there were exactly 2 wool knits, and they were both cool grays. This time of year I scour online sites, but it seems like most of what is available isn't terribly different than my RTW options--super saturated and warm or ultra cool color wise. I suppose I could learn how to knit, but I'm totally not interested. Mood has some beautiful rayon knits in the happy spring colors that work for me, but I'm gun shy about ordering any of their wool knits, and they recently started charging something absurd like $5 to ship swatches. But if it was me, I think I'd just look for RTW. I notice LLBean has some warm toned sweaters (including a light camel lambswool cardigan), and so does Lands End. I'm a little confused! LOL Warm-toned happy spring colors? Is that coral, yellow, tangerine...? How do you feel about ivory/white? I second the suggestion to check out Land's End (especially in the spring when they sell a lot of cotton sweaters in spring colors). They have GADS of new sweaters (the big winter catalogue just arrived today), and I was trying to pick colors for you but wasn't 100% sure what you liked! I can wear most aquas provided that they're really pure, not too bright, and not muted. The easiest way I can describe what I'm looking for is that the colors have to have light mixed in them in some way--like chambrays, heathered textures, a little gold sparkle etc. Ivories are good on my skin, but they can be tricky; because my skin tone is close enough to most of them, they can wash me out because I need a little more contrast. Ideally I'd love to find a golden light camel. Sorry to be so vague--I've been having one of those artistic dilemmas over all of this. Thanks for helping! I don't think its this one, but its close. Don't know about your pregnancy, but it would"ve been great for mine. I worn stuff like this unbuttoned with a little belt up high- and it will work afterwards of course! Look at the Dream turtleneck, too...yummy soft aqua, periwinkle, and light camel.
