Date: 10/15/12 1:58 AM Hello,
has anyone who is large busted has used the sure fit shirt kit?
Have you needed to do an FBA?
I need to do one with every shirt or top pattern I use so I imagine I would still have to but wondering.......?
thanks

Date: 10/15/12 9:02 AM You should email Glenda at Sure Fit. I'm sure she will answer your question. I have the dress kit and have just done the measurements so I'm ready to start tracing my blueprint. My guess is that will not need an FBA because you are using your exact measurements to make the blueprint and you will not need to add any additional room. That is just my guess though. |

Date: 10/15/12 7:22 PM The shirt kit is for sizes 28" to 56" and there is no FBA to do. You are "building" the pattern based on your particular neck and shoulder size, and including the bust circumference. There is 5" of ease in the pattern so that should cover everything. But just in case, ask Glenda. ------ "We don't impose our rhythm on Nature. The key is to respect and live within Her." Jean-Charles Boisset, Winemaker

Date: 10/16/12 0:11 AM Thankyou ladies,
It does make more sense that I don't have to do one. I can now order the kit! ------ Brother QC1000, Brother PQ1500, Bernina Virtuosa 160, Pfaff (old), Babylock BLCS, Bernette 1100D, Bernette 334DS |

Date: 11/4/12 9:18 AM I am eagerly awaiting the delivery of my 3kit combo from Sure-fit Designs.
Glenda is clear NO FBA! She has a dart placement template that is based on cup size.
If you watch her videos you will be more excited by the system with each successive video.
I have been using Lutterloh, and made all five pie es of my mini wardrobe from Lutterloh.
The systems are based on the same concept.

Date: 11/9/12 8:50 PM I still have to get started with mine. I got the shirt and the dress kits. I have just a few more things to finish up and hopefully by the 1st of the year I'll be ready to roll.
I'd love to hear some of you report back on success/failures. Do keep in mind that Glenda Sparling is fantastic to work with. Great customer service from what I've heard.
I met her at the ASG conference and she stressed sending her pictures and videos - she will skype - whatever it takes to get you the best fit. ------ Bernina 730E, 530, and 350PE
