I think it's cute. You could use a pattern for a pencil skirt, & that ruffle or peplum would probably not be that hard to make.
Nice looking fabric, too.

I don't know what to say. My attention was taken away by the hooves, er, shoes.

Cashmere/viscose/mulberry silk/nylon/wool

I'd kill someone to get my hands on corduroy like that. Admittedly I find Prorsum either too tepid or too silly for my tastes, but the execution is always good. I don't think their price point is absurd when you put them into perspective with the wider fashion marketplace.

I think they like that number-the top is the same price. It is made in Italy for what it's worth. It's cute for sure-doesn't look too difficult to make a similar style.

Good eyes. How can you tell the corduroy is better than usual just from the picture?
This is so interesting.

This is a great illustration of how to turn a basic pencil skirt into a very interesting design. I love the pockets, the ruching detailing on the back of the waistband (if that's what it is) and the oversized zipper. I would do without the peplum. I don't like how it fits in the back. Do you notice the diagonal wrinkles? Are they caused by her pose or is the skirt too tight? Comments, please.

This is so interesting.

Well, it could be..............

(1) the fabric is exceptional, or

(2) the designer thinks highly of herself/himself, or

(3) the market where this will be sold will accept the price without a blink of the critical eye.

Isn't there a group of people who only buy expensive items? If it is a mere $200 it must not be good. I do not think price reflects "value" in the designer crowd.
