I came across this dress tonight while browsing for inspiration. This is such a unique use of quilting in a garment.



I tried to insert the image, but if that didn't work here is the link.

The quilting looks a bit "poofy", which makes me wonder what is between the fashion fabric and the lining. At almost $1200 I won't be ordering one to find out though, lol.

That's a really cool idea for making a simple little dress much more interesting. I'll definitely have to file that away for sometime when I have more time (I'm thinking sometime around 2035).

It looks like a high loft batting, which will poof more in the areas which are less densely quilted.

My favorite quilted piece I have seen this season is a leather skirt by Chloe. Can see on net a porter.
