 1 member likes this. Date: 10/26/12 4:03 PM The US Supreme Court is apparently reviewing the legality of resale of items covered by copyright. There is apparently conflicting law concerning this issue. One law says that once you purchase an item, say a book, then you may resell it. Another item says that you cannot sell items purchased from out of the country that is protected by copyright, i.e. a book purchased in Europe or Asia. Interesting article. It has everyone up in arms. ------ Marilyn
January 2009 to January 2010 81 yards out and 71yards in January 2010 to the present 106.7 yards out and 146.5 yards in. January 2011 to the present: 47 yards out and 69 yards in.

It has everyone up in arms. Yes I read about this a few weeks ago. It all stems from some guy buying text books overseas (His homeland) which are way cheaper if bought in the USA.
Then he was selling them online to the USA market which were was much cheaper if bought new here in the USA. The thing is he never used them for anything other than to make money.
So now this case might effect everyone who sells goods via garage sales..ebay etc..you name it.
I hope the courts don't punish the entire consumer used market community for what this one guy did.
It would have dire consequences for everyone.
