Sewing with sweater knits: Pockets How would you stabilize the knit fabric?

Any advice on how to stabilize the fabric for pocket placement? I'm thinking I should line the pockets but what about reinforcing the dress to avoid sagging around the pockets? Simple interfacing the back of the fashion fabric around the pocket area? Of course, the pocket would be decorative and not functional. TIA ------

Date: 11/7/12 8:22 AM I would use fusible tricot on the dress and pocket parts, and also stitch bias tape at the openings to reinforce the pockets.
