I am considering this machine and can not find anything about the deco stitches it does in the regular sewing mode. They don't even have them on the Singer website. If anyone has this machine could they tell me a little about this. Any other info would be greatly appreciated also. Thanks in advance!

I would appreciate a review of the XL-6000, since it is on sale at so many places. I went to Singer.com and got NO information on hoop sizes, which is a bad sign. I want a larger embroidery field than my Janome MC10K, but don't want to pay 7K for an embroidery machine.

I found this site that has hoop size comparisons but the Singer 6000 is not on it.
Hoops sizes

This site has a lot of info on both the Singer 5000 and 6000 including hoop sizes.

Hope that helps some. I have no personal knowledge of Singer machines.

I have owned the XL6000 for about a year now and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It is a great sewing machine, but "she" usually is operating in embroidery mode. This is my 3rd embroidery machine. Started with the XL100. Sold it on ebay to buy a Simplicity Americana, which I really like. Then I bought the 6000 when I started my business. It has an "endless" bobbin, so I never run out of bobbin thread. The thread exchanger lets you have 2 colors ready to go, comes with 3 sizes of frames and a much larger field than my Simplicity, which goes only to 4 x 4. I believe the 6000 goes to 6 x 9, but I would need to check. The variable speed on the 6000 is wonderful, as I do a lot of machine cross stitch designs and with those you really need to run slower at times. I bought mine thru a dealer on ebay and he was just wonderful. My dealer in town didnt even have one on the floor and wouldnt budge on her price to order one for me. I got the Conversion software and hoops with mine. Also bought the PSW so I can work with all the designs I have. It is just wonderful!! Hope you consider buying one.BTW, the only thing I didnt like was it does not come with a cover or carrying case. I am hoping they will come out with one.

If you want, I can scan the pages of the decorative designs on the pages of my manual and email them to you. All I need is your email address. You may send it to debbieb52@charter.net if you like. Just let me know. I think all the designs are in the manual.

You might find some good ideas at:
