Date: 11/10/12 10:28 PM I don't think it is for me, but the tunic might be cute. I don't like it with the skirt and I wish they had included the yellow top.

Date: 11/10/12 11:43 PM Hi,
I am so impressed with your spinning garment. I checked the Vogue web site and the blouse pattern is included. It is a very cute pattern.

Date: 11/11/12 5:56 AM I kind of like it. It has an art-deco feel to it. I wonder why they would make patterns that are exclusively for the web. |

A few reasons-- instant gratification. I goes straight from designer to end-customer. It also costs nothing to produce a PDF and add a link to a website, otherwise they'd have to pay for the pattern printing and logistics of getting it to the resellers. |

Date: 11/11/12 9:59 PM Ouf! The line drawings reassured me re:the design:

I still don't think a partially sheer skirt over a tunic dress makes sense but at least you have options!!! ------ Fashion Maté, where I blog about what I (eventually) sew : http://fashionmate.blogspot.com

Date: 11/11/12 11:47 PM I ordered the first online exclusive pattern that came out this summer, and they aren't downloadable (pdf format) patterns. They are printed envelope patterns just like regular Vogue patterns.
My guess is that they want to encourage direct online orders. Most people who order a pattern online, will probably order 2 or 3 patterns at once to make the most of shipping charges. It may also help them promote other related products like the Vogue Patterns magazine subscriptions.
