I am soooo excited about Style Arc's new knit jacket pattern,
Knit jacket!

The pattern (along with a few others) are in transit, so I'm hoping it'll be here in a week or two. I've already pulled several doubleknits from my stash, and just ordered this little EOS beauty as well, so there will be several little knit jackets in my near future, I hope!

I'm working like mad for the next 3 weeks on class work (final year of an executive program) to free up some time on weekends and evenings in December (I work full-time) for an all-out Marni knit jacket sewing blitz!

Hope others will join in with me!

Most of all, I heart Woo (HimmyCat). Until we meet again, my beautiful little boy. I love you.

Lynnrowe, you are a very bad, devilish, naughty, wicked, very very bad ENABLER!!!

Now excuse me while I go order that EOS number before it's sold out.

I'll gladly join in! I would love to get some tips from the Queen of knits! Are you insisting we buy fabric? I'll get some if I have to.

I know a cue when it whaps me upside the head!

Of course I'm insisting you buy fabric! No use arguing, I can't hear you.
lah lah lah lah lah

My first tip, and the first thing I'll be doing when the pattern arrives, is to check the collar patterns to ensure there's enough turn of cloth ease.

Have I mentioned how excited I am?! So long I've been hoarding double knits for just the right knit jacket pattern!

I ordered this pattern yesterday and have some suitable fabric so I would love to sew along. Thank you.

Well, I am going to give this sew a long thing a try too! I just hope life does not interfere too much. I desperately need jackets (and the pattern has been ordered). And I took a pass on Christmas sewing this year, so maybe, just maybe, the time will work out. Thanks for starting this!

I was actually trying to not buy any patterns the rest of the year, then Style Arc came out with this jacket. I already have fabric so, pattern is ordered, and a couple of others since it costs the same amount of postage for three as for one!
Looking forward to seeing every ones versions of this pattern.

I'm so glad to not be alone, yay! I'm really looking forward to everyone's versions and fabric choices!

I'll be doing step by step photos as I sew, hope nobody minds a slew of pics!

No Style Arcs in the mail today, but should be any time now! I think tomorrow evening, as a treat for myself after work and after I put in some time on the class business case, I'll take photos of the fabrics I have pulled for the jacket. I also have a fabric coming from EOS but it won't get here for a couple weeks at least, with how slow customs is.

I am so excited, I wanna get started!
