Best I can tell, I could spend about $12,000 on Koala.

(I had a depressing day in the family today - I needed something to derail my brain... so I played with that printable graph paper, etc)

I'm moving into a new house on Dec 1... and methinks the family room next to the kitchen is soooooooo *not* gonna have any sofas or recliners in it. lol

On my radar someday: Babylock Serger, and some machine for travel.

My dearest wish is to have Bernina come out with a machine that doesn't give me a reason to *not* buy it.

I reviewed my Koala a few weeks back- becoming very satisfied w/ it. We downsized, guest room is too small for it and family room off kitchen is filled with large screen TV, seating and storage. So I took furniture out of my living room, moved my Koala w/ machines in there and no regrets! I LOVE it there. I sewed up a storm past few days and having the space made such a difference- plus I feel like a part of the house, not stuck away in a room.
I say enjoy it to the hilt and put it where ever you like.

I can't believe I've been called an enabler over a little ole' Vitamix when you are tempting folks with thousands $$$ in furniture.

Bottom line, the answer is not always more space. It is that our space and belongings need to do more for us.

You took h*ll over a Vitamix? Really?

(I got one of those.. that's no big deal! Among my friends, I wasn't an early adopter of those. Love mine, though... makes a wicked good Brazilian Lemonade! )

So the Koala.....

I thought I had all of my SMAD figured out.... had everything on the graph paper - right down to my granddaughter having a spot in my refuge....

Then....

Oh carp....

I didn't make room for that Babylock Tiara that is going to have to make it's way to my place someday!

Back to the drawing board.

And ... bummer.... gotta figure out how that white table is going to look with everything else that I wanted in Teak.

The online planner is awesome....so much easier to use than the cutout floorplan they have. It certainly helped me make my decision!

Ripstitcher - If you're looking at these, you cannot go wrong. I researched for months and looked at them at several dealers before I made my purchase. I think they're well worth every penny....especially that electric lift.
