Date: 11/14/12 4:26 PM Does anyone happen to have an uncut copy of Vogue 8323 very handy?
I cut out the pieces for View C in size 14 a long time ago -- before I learned to trace rather than cut when I'm unsure, and too long ago to recall whether or not I cut off anything important.
I would now like to try the same top in a smaller size, but wonder whether the pattern is missing anything. That is, do any of the cutting lines and/or markings for size 10 or 12 cross over and outside those for size 14? If so, I cut them off and they are most likely gone forever, and I'll buy another copy of the pattern. No great tragedy with Vogue's frequent sales, but I hate to waste money or paper unnecessarily.
TIA to anyone who happens to have this pattern out on her cutting table at the moment and cares to have a look! ------ Twitter: @SewKnitStash |

Date: 11/19/12 2:33 PM I'm glad you decided to keep it :)
If you open it up any time soon, and it's not too hard, let me know about the cutting lines!
Thanks,

Date: 11/20/12 12:46 PM I have not, actually!
I'm not in a hurry, but if you think of it when you have it opened up, please let me know. It was the view C pieces I cut out in size 14, and I need to know if I might have cut off any lines for size 12 or 10.
Thanks in advance and have a great holiday!

Date: 11/20/12 3:49 PM Liz, I just took a look at it. Piece 4 has a smidgen of overlap at the top princess seam edge. Piece 8 also has a smidgen overlap at the top neck edge. Pieces 2, 7, & 9 are all fine. I took pics but need to run out to get a tattoo. LOL I can post the pics for you when I get back. |

Thanks so much for the info! No need to take pics; now that I know, I don't mind buying another copy when it goes on sale.
Real tattoo? hope it's nothing you'll regret ;). But you seem very sensible.
Thanks again and have a great holiday! ------ Twitter: @SewKnitStash |

Date: 11/21/12 10:45 AM Thanks for elaborating on that. Being obsessive, I might rebuy the pattern anyway, if it's cheap and convenient. But it's good to know the cut copy would most likely be fine.
Glad you're happy with your ink, and looking forward to your version of the top!
