Iron on transfer to fabric paper

Does it work? Has anyone had better luck with one brand or another? I want to get some to make a dog coat with a hilarious picture. Thanks!!

You can print directly onto the sheets using your regular printer; it works best with the paper loaded in the back (rather than the feed tray). I suggest doing a test printing on regular paper to make sure the size and colors are what you want before using the more expensive transfer paper. Also, you will need to flip the image/writing before printing. If not, whatever it is you're ironing on will show up backwards on your fabric! Your printer probably has "iron-on transfer" in its list of special paper options; when you select this option, the image will be automatically flipped (though it won't show up that way on your screen) and you don't need to do anything else. In other words, if you select the iron-on transfer setting on your printer, you do not need manually flip your image - if you do, the two actions will counteract each other and the image will actually print "un-flipped". Just ask me how I figured that one out!
