First time posting anything - hope I'm doing this right:)

Im considering buying a serger - either Janome 1110DX or a Bernina 610D (both on sale for $584). Has anyone every used any one of these. This will be my first serger. Hope someone can give me some feedback. Thanks in advance.

On the PR Home Page, you can find lots of interesting information. Different subjects are listed in the center of the page in two columns. In the left column at the top is the "Sewing Machine" subject. Within that block, at the bottom, click on "More Sewing Machines." At the top of the first page and to the right, you will find a SEARCH box. Type "Janome" and push ENTER. All the Janome sewing machines, coverstitch, embroidery AND serger reviews will populate from most current to oldest. You can find reviews for the Janome 1110DX Serger on these dates: 7/7/11, 4/24/10, 11/9/09, 9/5/09, 3/12/09, 12/7/08, and 4/15/07.

I couldn't find any reviews for the Bernina 610D. Happy reading!

Blueskies, I'm going through the same thing right now. I've been sewing for decades and find myself leaning towards getting a serger. I have looked at the Babylock Imagine and the Viking 200S. I really like the Viking because the lower front not only opens on the right side, but the left as well. Giving total access to the threading area. I'm just hung up right now on the cost, sewing room space and "do I really need a serger after all these years". Good Luck in your journey.
