Date: 11/17/12 12:19 PM I was told there is a huge fabric store in Houston the size of our super Wally world in our small town. Unfortunately the person could not remember the name of the store. If anyone knows the names of some big stores in Houston please let me know. Thank you. |

Date: 11/17/12 1:29 PM If it's the one I'm thinking of it's High Fashion.
Here's a link to the website, I think they have two separate buildings one for apparel fabric and the other for home dec. You'll lose your mind there.

Date: 11/18/12 3:34 PM They have everything, when you walk through the doors there is a room off to the right that has cottons, quilting cottons, shirting cottons, along with bolts of clearance fabrics they have a wide variety, not just high end. You'll be fine. ------ "A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.”

Date: 11/18/12 6:16 PM Yes, I believe you are thinking of High Fashion Fabrics at 3101 Louisiana St. They are, in general, much more expensive than Joann's or Hancock, but they do have lovely fabrics and if you're a smart shopper you can get some great fabrics on sale. You do have to look tho. I purchased 2 1/4 yards of a gorgeous, beautiful quality wool for $35 for the piece. |
