10 members like this. Date: 11/18/12 11:33 AM Yes! it is quite an interesting trip and what takes place is changeable from year to year, based on availability and many other variables. It is 8 days of planned activities, including museums with our own private guide, shopping for fabrics and notions, and a workshop day - we actually learned some basic techniques used by the House of Madame Gres, who made wonderful flowing gowns, including at least one for Jackie Kennedy.
This evening I will begin a day-by-day run through for anyone who might be interested.
In addition to budget busting stash accumulation, I made a friend for life in the woman I was assigned as a roommate. Susan could not have chosen a more perfect pairing.
And, Susan Khalje is quite gracious and fun, as is her assistant Cindy.

Date: 11/18/12 12:27 PM Thank you so very much for sharing - I had hoped to attend a Susan Khalje workshop last year and it just didn't work out. This is the next best thing , maybe even better since you took the trip instead of the workshop. I'm looking forward to reading about your adventure.
