Upcycle jeans into a skirt? any good tutorials?

Look out world here comes Ada in a denim skirt (maybe 2). Oooop! These are my son's jeans so they are going to be to big in the waist and hips. I will have to think about taking the waistband off and cutting it down for me. ------ Ada
