Date: 11/25/12 8:02 PM Hello!
I can't claim to be a Janome expert yet, but I do have some experience with them ~ happy, good experience. My own Bernette is made by them; my daughter has their Magnolia 7318; and my mother has a Janome-made Kenmore. We're all happy with their sturdiness and reliable performance.
Now, as to that model number, would I be correct in thinking that you may be outside the U.S.? Just wondering, as I don't believe I've seen that model/design yet. But it seems very, very similar to their 2212 ~ which has a good reputation among its owners here on PR. (I actually considered it for my daughter ~ it's a wonderful machine. I just went for a few more stitch patterns plus the pretty floral design, for her.) It's actually available for $149 in the States at an online dealer (SewVacDirect). I don't know how it works with shipping and taxes; maybe you'd be better served just buying it directly in your country. At any rate, it seems very close to the 2212 and if so, that one has been well received here on PR; and has good reviews on Amazon, too. |
