Date: 11/23/12 7:40 PM Yes, I believe you can give a class as a gift. I recommend the Machine Quilting class, and any class by Wendy Butler Berns....great teacher, seems like a nice lady. LOVED the class. As well, I recommend the fun and different Scrap Quilting with Pepper Cory. Each class and teacher are fun and different. The Sewing Machine 911 is great and it is free. Good intro to machines or refresher. Anyhow - These classes are great. I am signed up for more than I get to watch, as you can watch them any time and over the next few years as well! As long as they are there and you are too I guess. Block of the month - fun! Leah Day is teaching a free motion class....there are some reviews of these classes here on PR in the reviews as well. ------ "Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible."

Date: 11/24/12 10:05 AM I received an email from Fabric.com with the Craftsy class offering. Apparently they've partnered with Craftsy. A very wise business move on their part.
I'm signed up for three classes already. I just need life to slow down a bit so I have time to work on them. ------ Judy |

Date: 11/24/12 2:43 PM And I think I heard that Fabric.com was purchased by Amazon.
???
Anyway... my main reason for popping into this thread is that the $19.99 class sale goes through 11/26...
But there also is an option to buy classes as gifts - and 3 are $55.
Kinda thinkin' I need to bug my kids to get me my birthday present early.
The question is... Do any of you know if that is the going price for classes as gifts? Or is that just a sale price this weekend?
I couldn't tell from what I was lookin' at. ------ nightowlsally.com
On my radar someday: Babylock Serger, and some machine for travel.
My dearest wish is to have Bernina come out with a machine that doesn't give me a reason to *not* buy it.

Date: 11/29/12 10:57 PM They bought them in 2008. they were grateful to be bought.
That was a sale price for the classes. They have sales every so often, and since the classes don't expire, it's worth waiting. |
