Date: 11/25/12 11:16 AM I'm looking for a good hooded cape pattern for my adult, size 4, daughter.I want to use lightweight wool and a lightweight lining. I like the look of the New Look 6073 cape but, after reading reviews, feel it may be too basic/big. I have been sewing for decades and can put my own deco touches on projects but still need a good pattern foundation. Can anyone recommend a good pattern where the cape doesn't come out looking like a boxy tent? -- Edited on 11/25/12 11:18 AM -- |

This is the one I use. I am petite (although not a size 4) and it doesn't overwhelm me. It also is warm as the neck fits close. ------ Sewing: A creative mess is better than tidy idleness. ~Author Unknown
