Not all done yet, just a trial layout. I think I'll probably keep it this way.

1 member likes this. Date: 11/28/12 10:08 AM Thanks everyone! I am using jelly roll strips, plus strips of red yardage. I am using a method from a Missouri Star tutorial, the tube quilting.
6 seams, that's it and it makes 6 blocks!
I bought a LOT of fabric, I can NEVER seem to figure out how much fabric I'll need!! So I have border options. There are 5 shades of black/grey plus the red, so maybe I'll do stripes form dark to light, or light to dark.
Not sure yet! I HAVE to see before I can decide.
For quilting it HAS to be minimal. He LOVES the big hexy quilt I made. My daughter told me they fight over who gets to use it and he told me he LOVES the fleece (he called it 'stuff') on the back and the fact that it's sooo soft.
So I will probably do minimal stitch in the ditch using my favorite stitches. ------ Cathryn |
