Using decorative stitches? I did this once on my Bernia 1630 really the only time I ever really used it. I used it cos of the wide stitches it's capable of. Although my CXL does wide also. I remember getting mixed results.

My machine has quilt stitches that are 'decorative'. They are not real stitch dense, and I use them all the time.

I also have some REALLY dense stitches, but don't use them for quilting. I do use them for satin edged blankets.

Love those big pictures! YES, what machine? Is it a Singer? Singers have all those nifty "character" stitches.

OH - I see you have Pfaffs...:)

Thanks! I used my Pfaff Creative 4.0.

These elephants took about 3 hours to sew! The timing was starting to get funky, you can see a few elephants with skipped stitches.

It is so cute though!

The elephant is one of the 9mm stitches. I LOVE how cute it is!

I only have one machine. And a serger. Both are Pfaff's
