Going out of business ... sad. But the SALE!

I hadn't actually bought anything from here until today -- though, oddly enough, I'd been meaning to for a while. Anyway, just wanted to share the news that the out-of-business clearance is unbelievable. I just bought 20 yards of fabric (BAD REBECCA) for about $100 (GOOD!)

Always sad to see a merchant go, especially one with such pretty things ... but when you've just snagged four yards of a 52% silk blend velvet and another four of silk jersey -- both for under $7 a yard -- it's tough not to get a little giddy.

Go forth and shop!

Ah, that is sad. Sorry to see that, Melody! However, the fabric has got to go! I just can't justify more fabric....

Sorry to hear this. I do hope that Melody is moving on to bigger and better things

I was bummed when I got Melody's email. I've bought quite a bit of fabric from her over the years. I'm sure that she'll do well in whatever she moves on to.

Just a heads up to anyone interested in checking out the sale--the fabric is going fast. I bought 2 linens that I've had in and out over my cart a few times since they've been listed, but most of what I put in my cart was already sold out.

I managed to snag a couple of pieces at fabulous prices. The shipping was practically more than the cost of the fabrics.

FF was the only place I knew of that sold individual copies of Burda Style. Does anybody know of another resource?
