The zipper appears to be 10in.
I took out the back seam. Now what do I do?
It looks a mess. It appears that if I sew it back together there will still be more slack under the zipper. I am determined to learn how to do this. Can someone guide me through this from scratch or tell me where to go?

Taking in the inseam near the crotch will shorten the length of the back and front center seam.

It might be a good ideal to remove your email address and not post it on an open forum where it may be picked up by spammers.
