It's gorgeous! I can't even begin to imagine doing all that by hand. Saying that, I have a friend that does everything by hand, including the piecing, her work is incredible and she is FAST!

Very pretty! Thank you for sharing!

I signed up to take a hand quilting class at a local museum near me this January---I am so excited! I kinda felt odd signing up for a class to hand quilt when I have made quilts---it's just they are all machine pieced and quilted. But I know that it'll be fun---and maybe I'll pick up a few tips!

This quilt reminds me of the quilts I see at the show in Paducah, KY. Every year the most incredible handmade quilts come from Japan.
