10 members like this. Date: 12/5/12 11:25 AM Yesterday Jan (jtink) and I had lunch at our favorite restaurant. We met here on PR and started getting together every month or so and it has been great.
I encourage everyone to meet up with a PR member in your area.
We had a great time catching up as both of us have been very busy the last couple of months and haven't been on PR much.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and that the new year brings everyone much happiness.
Cheers,

Date: 12/6/12 1:27 PM Hi,
I have several friends that I met through the American Sewing Guild who also belong to PatternReview. We often get together for lunch or breakfast and talk about sewing. I feel so great afterwards and feel very lucky that I have sewing friends close by.
Kathy C. ------ Sewing and reading about sewing are daily pleasures.
I hope to use up lots of stash in 2012.

Date: 12/24/12 0:19 AM I go to two sewing clubs which are a lot of fun. I wish I could go to lunch with some of the members. My favs are either from out of town or work at the quilt stores (so they don't have an hour to go to lunch). That's great that you are doing that.
It is like being recharged...taking about your passions, etc. If I talk to my other friends about sewing/quilting/embroidery, they have no idea what I am talking about! LOL Good for you! |
