 1 member likes this. Date: 12/5/12 8:16 PM How do I make a dress that puffs and the bottom like this one? I use the fishing line in the hem but it doesn't make it stand out and the under layer puff like that.

Date: 12/5/12 10:39 PM You also need a skirt with a LOT of fabric in it--a circumference that is a full circle or one that is made even fuller than a circle by the use of inserted godets or panels.
Think fullness shown by these skirts, but very short. McCall's 8257, OOP but findable on e-crater, ebay, or etsy, would be a good starting point for a kid's skirt.
It helps to use fabric with some body and/or extremely full petticoats underneath.
