How Can I Tell What Year A Sewing Machine Is ? SINGER 9960 Quantum Stylis ?

So if someone has a SINGER 9960 Quantum Stylist how can they find out what year model they have ? There has to be a way to figure this out by the serial number without contacting singer. Date: 12/6/12 2:47 PM It would probably have something to do with the serial numbers. I would get the serial number off it and call Singer. Date: 12/6/12 3:10 PM The 9960's with the greenish decal on the lower right of the machine are the newer ones. The ones without that are the ones from 2010 that had the bobbin problems.
