Trudy is willing to make a pretty fabulous "vintage" HotPatterns jacket pattern available again if she gets enough pre-orders. Frankly, I liked this pattern company better when they were a bit more idiosyncratic than they are now, but offbeat designs seem difficult to sell in a shaky economy. Just look at what happened to the promising but offbeat au bonheur des petits mains pattern line. It makes sense, if you can afford it, to listen to customers to assure that a pattern actually has a market.

How did I miss this one? It does make sense for HPs to see what demand actually might be since they will have to do this one over from scratch per Trudy's post. I know that they use a different block for drafting now than from the early patterns.
