I bought this set last year for a lot more and it has the best colors I've seen within a set of this size. In fact, I'm buying a second set since each slot will hold 3 spools. I have mine hung on my wall so I can just add the new spools to my original. For this price each spool is only 90-cents. I have no problem with Gutermann in fact it's all I use. I recently went in and got one of every color when they had their 50% off on thread sale. I cannot say how useful it is to have each color. Sometimes just a shade different makes all the difference. I put mine in the sulky slimline storage boxes that hold 104 threads in a box. Three or four of these hold all my thread ( for sewing that is...let's not talk about the embroidery thread.) ------ "The problem is not that there are problems. I keep the colors that came with it. as those were already labeled. .then used my second box.. the older one for all the other colors I had. And was thinking about adding one more. but will look into those sulky boxes instead.. running out of wall space here to hang anything.
