In 2013, I'm planning to join craft fairs and sell some stuff on Etsy.

So currently I'm setting up a website to basically show my projects and ideas so I can advertise to potential customers at the craft fair and link it to Etsy for purchases.

Does anyone have a website like this?
It's not really a blog (although it has a blog page included) not really a shopping site since it doesn't have a direct shopping cart (it's just too much work for me right now)...

I don't have one, but a lot of people have a facebook page and they post news on there and link to their etsy.

I use weebly, and have a website that consists of an intro page, a gallery and a blog. My intention is to set up an etsy shop one day, but I've been kept so busy with orders from friends and acquantainces that i haven't had time to build up any stock!

Its really easy to use, and you can have scrolling galleries or individual photos with matching text, and add links to another site.
Weebly is free to use unless you want advanced features (which it sounds like you don't) and you can either use your own domain name or use the one they provide one for free.

Hope that helps! Gemma
ps. I'm not sure if the forum rules allow me to post a link to my site since it does have a commercial/advertising element, so pm me if you want a link.

Aww, I was hoping to see everyone's link here!
I'm not a friends of PR so I can't use PM.
Please send me the link!

I started using www.webs.com.
It soumds similar to weebly, it's free to use.
But it seems to a bit slow...
I might try weebly.

If it's the one Geep is talking about, check on her profile.

Just one suggestion...

If you're intending to make money from your site (even indirectly) I strongly suggest you get your own domain name and have it hosted somewhere where it will *not* be a subdomain.

Lots of reasons for this.....

And there are major benefits to using blog format.

My blog is below... it's relatively new, but it's working very well for me... even being as lame as it is.

RipStitcher, I saw your blog! Very nice!
I've never seen Skimlinks... How is that working for you?
I'm using Adsense on current blog, and it's ok.

Why not use an Etsy badge which links to your Etsy site?
