Date: 12/13/12 5:21 PM Are there patterns that fit the Disney dolls, like Cinderella, Snow White, Mulan? My GD's have both the molded and soft ones.
The big 3 have American girl patterns etc, but they are more fitted and detailed. Since doll clothes take a beating (and the dolls are often naked!) I don't want to put a lot of detail into them.
They also want superhero capes, with hoods.
Anyone use a favorite pattern or have an online freebie from a tutorial?
Don't you love it when they come up with last-minute ideas?! |

Date: 12/14/12 6:15 AM The basic My First Disney Princess doll show cases some of your favorite Disney Princesses as they would appear as a toddler aged Princess. The Disney Princess dolls are about 15 inches tall, Chest: 7.5"
Waist: 7.75"
Hips: 8.75"
Height: 15"
This might work: but you might still have to adjust pattern: etsy
Disney Princess Animators Collection 16 Inch Doll Figure(and skinny!)
Not sure about the soft ones, except they seem to be 12" but all the illustrations makes it look like at least part of their clothes are sewn on.
cloak with hood use child's measurements to establish size
edited to add: I think this Simplicity 4268 might be what you are looking for: it is designed for the American girl twins, but as they are 15" toddlers, shouldn"t this work? -- Edited on 12/16/12 10:44 PM -- ------ You can judge the true character of a man by the way he treats the people
who can do nothing for him
