Date: 12/14/12 7:24 AM What is your favorite hoodie pattern? I was a bad girl on Black friday and ordered several pieces of printed sweatshirt fabric including my favorite http://www.naturesfabrics.com/black-lace-cotton-fleece.html and am trying to decide on a pattern.
thanks,

Date: 12/14/12 8:17 AM Hello, I am a hoodie addict! I cannot find enough great hoodie patterns so I will be interested to hear what you and others have to say about their favorites.
My most current hoodie pattern is Vogue 8854 and ther one I am currently sewing is New Look 6142
Neither of these is necessarily my ideal, but there just is not a lot to pick from out there!
I would be really interested to hear more about your printed sweatshirt fabrics too, as I have also had a hard time finding any prints, or even good plain, sweatshirt fabric! ------ My Singer crew:
Sergei - Serger 14T968DC (set up as coverstitch)
Stella - Serger Stylist II 14J250 (set up as main overlock)
Quincy - Quantum 9960 (my main SM)
Newest addition: Stevie, my very first Featherweight! (221 Centennial) |

Date: 12/15/12 1:34 PM Simplicity 3640 is a cute hoodie with pockets set into princess seams. Kwik Sew 3155 is a very simple pullover hoodie. Since both are still on my list to buy, I can't give a recommendation from experience, but they seem to be getting good reviews. |

I just picked up Simplicity 2208.at Hobby Lobby when they were $.99 to make view C..at the suggestion of someone here in PatternReview (sorry cannot give credit to her, as I can't find that thread)..
It calls for fleece or cotton's and blends.. someone reviewed it and encased allthe seams in multicolored bias tape if you want to check it out in the review gallery. ------ Since the mind is essentially a wet computer, our task is to figure out how we can best program it. |

Date: 12/15/12 2:34 PM Butterick 6771 (oop) is my current favorite. I shortened the pattern and made a hip length version for my mother last year and a knee length (view A) one for myself. It reminds me of the jacket from Christine Jonson's Travel Trio Two |
