Applique scissors?

After cutting out the first two I started noticing my scissors were hurting my fingers. I tried a couple different pair but still they were not comfortable to use for an extended period. Is there a good pair of comfort grips out there somewhere? And what's a good length? I'm partial to FamoreCutlery.com and have several different types of specialty scissors. I was eyeing their 6" comfort handle model but it is out-of-stock right now. They were recommended to me a physical therapist. ------ My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since.

I'm thinking the rubberized, spongy handles on the Famores will be more comfortable for me. I think I'll just wait until they are back in stock at the Famorecutlery website. I'm so impressed with their other tools that it has become my favorite brand. Their tiny tweezers are the best for getting small threads out of the bobbin housing.
