5 members like this. Date: 12/16/12 7:01 PM I've just set up my new HD3000, now reading the entire manual. Picked up some fleece today and have a lot of mending to do. I'll give updates in this thread as I learn my new machine. It will probably be over the next couple of weeks as the holidays will keep me busy.
Seems like a great little machine that will fit the bill for most household sewing. |

On my radar someday: Babylock Serger, and some machine for travel.
My dearest wish is to have Bernina come out with a machine that doesn't give me a reason to *not* buy it.

Date: 1/1/13 6:39 PM I struggled for hours over whether to get the HD1000 or the HD3000. The only differences I could find between the two were the drop in bobbin and having a couple of additional stitches. In the end, I opted for the 1000. I do a lot of quilting and Leah Day, of The Free Motion Quilting blog, swayed me towards the 1000.
I've had it for 4 months and use it every day. |
