I recently watched a video on You Tube of a person using some kind of foil to press over embroidery done with fusible thread. Does anybody know what kind of foil is that, and where can I find it? Thanks.

I don't know where you are from, so it isn't easy to say where you can get it. I get it in Hobby Craft here in the UK, but also from other textile art suppliers.
I Googled it and found this site -
this site with good instructions. They give quite a few ways to use it. They sell it too. But I would probably go straight to the people who make it. Jones Tones I haven't found much luck with the glue they give, it is so hard to get it to come out of the bottle even, and the line is too wide. So, when I heard about the fusible thread, I also tried that and it works really well.
Not sure which video you watched, but you can lay it down in a pattern, or you can use it in the bobbin and sew upside down. You need to tighten the top tension a little so the top thread isn't too obvious. also, lengthen the stitch length, so you get more of the fusible thread showing on the surface of the fabric.
Hope this helps.
I love using it with a open type of fusible adhesive like Misty Fuse. I did some moons on a skirt that way and they were very ethereal, not like a solid silver circle.

I live in Miami, FL, USA. I searched the web sites you suggested and found the foil My question is: do we need some kind of glue? In the video, it looked as if it was just to iron the foil over the design. My second question is: What is Misty fuse? I'd love to do those ethereal moons.
Thanks for your help.
