Amazing thing about thread nests How fast that thread gets pulled out!
tourist   Intermediate BC CANADA Member since 7/23/07 Posts: 5406	Login to reply to this post Like this post Date: 12/23/12 11:17 AM I was doing some crazy free-style sewing for DD yesterday and made some crazy thread nests by trying to use my bump jumper under my walking foot. It felt like the presser foot was down, but it wasn't, which made some seriously impressive thread nests after only a couple of stitches. I was quite surprised that so much thread could pull out so darn quickly! One nice thing about having done more sewing over the past few years is that I really didn't get to frustrated. Just went through the diagnostic steps and gradually figured it out. Hope to get a photo of the skirt soon. It doesn't look pretty inside, doesn't fit the way I would like it to, has pull lines and is made out of completely inappropriate fabric but it does "work" in the way DD wants it to.
