Date: 12/24/12 9:19 AM I actually really enjoyed reading all those stories on the blog of people's first sewing machines. All so different and interesting.
But I did wonder who won the machine, or was it posted somewhere and I missed it? ------ Trinity

Date: 12/24/12 12:05 PM No I didn't see it either. I hope you win it javascript:emoticon('')
Here's what I found interesting: There were almost 800 entries in that contest, but on any given day maybe 100 people post in the forums and not very many post. The stories in the contest were amazing, it would be nice to see even a small number of those people participate in the forums, they have lots of knowledge to share. |

Date: 12/26/12 7:48 PM I was thinking of posting an attempt at winning, but felt that there's enough info of me being splashed around here... I don't know what purpose entering that contest would serve, other than to win the machine, but you know the old adage of "something" and "nothing". ------ "We don't impose our rhythm on Nature. The key is to respect and live within Her." Jean-Charles Boisset, Winemaker

Date: 12/26/12 10:17 PM I'm curious, too. I also loved reading all those stories - really fascinating, each one so unique. (It would make a good book, yes?) |
