Ok, who got a sewing/serging/coverstitching machine for Christmas? Tell all the juicy details!

Date: 12/25/12 3:47 PM Janome Coverpro cpx1000 - it is out of the box and begging for some attention! No, not a surprise, I ordered it for myself because only I could know what I wanted after hours and hours of research. But, I still think of it as a Christmas present from my hubby - he was in complete agreement when I said I knew what I wanted but it would be better for me to pick it out. LOL!

Date: 12/25/12 4:03 PM I decided to start sewing again after a hiatus of over 20 years and I pretty much live in jeans and t-shirts. After making a couple tee's and complaining to DH about trying to get decent looking hem on knit fabrics he took me shopping for a coverstitch machine and a serger. I ended up getting a Babylock coverstitch as well as a Brother 5234 PRW serger. I am married to the BEST man in the world!!! I have not decided which one quite yet but have narrowed it down.
