I am looking for a pattern for a princess seam dress with no sleeves and peplum.

A freind has asked me to make for here.

Thank you

I'm having trouble envisioning this. Are you looking for a sheath dress with princess seams and an incorporated peplum? A flared dress with the same attributes? Long? Short? What kind of neckline?

I bought two rather like that lately. Both New Look. I have not sewn them up yet though, so can't say how turn out. I think those were the only current princess seams shaped ones I noticed.

New Look 6124

I saw that one made up in linen blend on a dress form at Joanns Fabrics and it looked interesting. The little half peplums on the sides seemed to drape nice. But it looks cold as sleeveless, I was possibly thinking of making of knit, no zipper and just adding some sleeves.

Also New Look 6130

That one's not really a dress but more a top, but if you wore it with the matching skirt, it would just look like a dress, or you could just sew the top of the skirt into the waist seam under and along with the peplum, then it really could be a dress.

The new look pattern is very close but I need the peplum to come around the front.

Thanks for suggestions

Well, everybody came out with peplums this season.

First, there is V8849 that is a combination sweetheart yoke, princess seam and peplum (trifecta of trends?):

and then you have
B5811 which as a seamed princess sheath dress with removable peplum:

I'm pretty sure the sewing magazines have some too but you don't say if you use Burdastyle, La Mia Boutique, Patrones, KnipMode, and Manequim...

I swear I saw a tutorial somewhere to make your own removable peplum. So you could make whatever princess seamed dress you want and add a peplum. I want to say it was on Burdastyle.
