The LB6800PRW vs. the SE-400 Sewing/ Embroidery Machine by Brother Sewing Machine comment....

I had intended to buy the LB6800PRW dual sewing/ embroidery machine, when I took a closer look at the specs of the SE-400 and found that they were the exact same machine, save for the "Project Runway" logo! This has been confirmed to me by this blog post: http://www.brotherse400.com/brother-lb6800prw-brother-se400/ Lesson? Caveat emptor! :)

It was just by happenstance that I clicked on the SE-400 model on the Brother website and realized that I was physically LOOKING at the same machine being sold as the LBR6800PRW! So, that prompted me for some more investigation.

I have read that sometimes there can be a difference in the packaging. Access the Brother site, then select Specifications and scroll down to Carton Contents: SE 400 LB 6800 PRW
