Date: 12/29/12 8:19 AM Was wondering if the trick to this is a simple twist in the middle? I think I can figure out how to finish the ends but wasnt sure what makes it "infinite" vs just a tube w/ a twist? |

Date: 12/29/12 8:42 AM You can twist or not, as you like. I usually twist if I am going to wear it as one single loop, but if I am going to loop double you get the twist anyway when you loop. ------ Taking in is happier than letting out.

1 member likes this. Date: 12/29/12 2:43 PM I watched a few tutorials and then did my own thing. I made 7 scarves for co-workers. If it was a knit I twisted it one time and it looked great either singly, tied, or looped in half. If it was more chiffony I twisted it 3 times to get the best look when worn. I'd say it's all personal preference.

Date: 12/30/12 7:48 AM I have some really great hot pink stretch eyelet that i'd like to use! Also i think a houndstooth one would be great. I can't believe this really just involves a twist--not much mystery at all! I've seen various ways of sewing the ends--but can see how folding the 2 ends and sewing first one and then slip-stitching the other is by far the best (easiest). Thank-you to all who responded. I now have confidence enough to proceed. |
