Date: 12/29/12 4:52 PM Sewing the Perfect Fit by Lynda Maynard is "coming soon" which means no one will have purchased the class yet. Looks interesting though. One to keep an eye on. ------ Belinda. Melbourne, Australia

Date: 12/29/12 7:39 PM Yes its there. I just purchased it with a coupon I had, but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I'm also interested in the sewing with silk class. Anyone buy that one? |

I'm hoping there will be a price break when the class is introduced the first time. If not, I will be watching for a discount. but would like to take the class.

Date: 12/30/12 1:19 AM I just started watching Lynda's class on craftsy (I was lucky to use a coupon that was to expire 1/3). The class is really good. I'm really enjoying it. It also come with a Vogue pattern which I should receive soon.
I love Craftsy classes. First of all they do come on sale but even if you can't wait they are worth every penny. Once you sign up you have unlimited access to your class. You can watch it whenever you want, you can take notes and your notes are marked so you can go to the particular part of the video that refers to it. You can post questions to the instructor and the group. What I usually do is watch the entire series first, then go back and sew along with the instructor. The quality of the videos is excellent. Love the format. What I really like is you really feel as if you are in class. You actually get to see all the steps, they take the time to show everything.
I recommend going to Crafty.com and trying out their free classes, there are several and they are truly free. They will give you a taste of what the format is like. I just love Crafty and so will you! Plus there's a money back guarantee if you are ever unsatisfied . Also customer service is excellent they respond quickly. |

Date: 12/30/12 4:21 AM I got the silk class 2 days ago. Figured the included pattern alone was worth the cost. I have been waiting a few years now for the PR silk class to return since I have a few silk pairs of pants I need to repair and a blouse to clone - just want some hand holding I guess.
Plus want to add a dressier yet flowy top with ease for movement. Anyway got the Crasftsy email about the silk class and jumped on it. ------ re-living my youth through sewing... |
