Christmas applique quilt top is DONE!! FINALLY!

I had so many other things I had to work on, this got pushed aside. But the top is DONE!! I put Princess back in the cabinet, I decided to make 4 more applique blocks and was not about to make them on the new machine. I will play around with that when I am in the mood and NOT on a project I have spent so much time on! This will be the first quilt I make with a cotton back. I have enough of the adorable Santa print to make it, and I want to use it on this quilt. I am worried it will be really stiff, applique is already stiff, but it's not like I will be sleeping with it every night. It's 61.5" square. I SWEAR I was SO VERY DETERMINED to not make this one a square...I really thought it was going to end up a bit longer than wide. But NOPE! I do NOT know how I always manage to make square quilts!! here is the photo album: Doodlebug Christmas quilt ------ Cathryn
