My sweet mother just gave me her like-new and just serviced Pfaff 7570, complete with embroidery unit and all the accessories. The only things she didn't have were the instructional videos and the Owner's Handbook (the two-volume three-ring binder set). I have searched eBay and pretty much everywhere else I can think of, with no success. I also asked the dealer who just serviced the machine, and she contacted the Pfaff corporation. They don't have it anymore, either. Does anyone have one for sale? Or, any other suggestions?

You can always try Pfaff Consumer Service at 1-800-446-2333. I called them a couple of years ago and bought a copy of something for a 1471 and put it in my own binder.

Hi you will love this machine! I bought one used about 5 years ago and it is a gem. I didn't get the two ring binder set you are talking about but did get this owner manual:
Owners Instruction Manual

It's been a great reference and I still use it quite often. I haven't venture to use the embroidery unit but will if I have an opportunity.

Enjoy your new baby! Martha

I bought the 7570 in the 90's when it was introduced, and I don't recall any ''basic how to use the machine'' instructional videos, just a couple about creative projects. They weren't essential to using the machine, and if you can find them they'd likely just be available on VHS . . . Regarding the Handbooks, which I purchased separately and sold a long time ago--they're helpful but also not essential. They provided some info on balancing the maxi stitches, and some tips on how to use some of the stitches, but I remember them as a stitch sample catalog--where you'd follow the set-up instructions, make a sample and staple it in the book. You can do that by experimenting on your own.

Since my machine no longer works, I do have the original manuals (not copies) for the machine (including the templates for the maxi-stitches) and the embroidery unit--if you want to do hoop embroidery you need the extra manual. If you're interested, respond in this thread and I'll send you a PM.

TeresaInTexas, I have a Pfaff Owners Handbook Volume One, that I would be interested in selling. I just don't have Volume Two. By the way, congratulations, the 7570 is a jewel in my opinion.

I know the ones you are talking about, but I think everyone else wanted them too, and for a long time before you now, so they have become kind of collectable and sometimes very expensive things. I think that is partially because Mr. Philip Pepper, the Pfaff educator, was in that video, and and then after he died so many years ago, everyone that had not that video, just really wanted it, and it went to bidding wars and such on ebay and such. But he wrote lots of other books and stuff too, that is probably much more easy (and way cheaper) to still find out there.

If you just want lots of neat old examples of all the sewing and with all exact stitches (and stitch #'s to use for each one) and lots of nice specific to the machine photo's of stuff done on it, to use for all sorts of decorative sewing and such, you could always get a bunch of the old Pfaff magazines of back in that time instead. I think there are still tons of those around, maybe look for those instead or also possibly and they would not cost much at all, maybe only a few bucks for each old issue. Those all are really nice and have a lot of good inspiration and exact machine instruction in them too.

Thank you for all the suggestions! I do have the original owner's manuals already, but I'm finding them to be somewhat inadequate so far due to their brevity and the fact that the orginal German wasn't always translated exactly. I haven't had much time to experiment with it so I've only done a few little things.

I have an owner's handbook for my Viking and I LOVE it! It is one of the books I have returned to again and again for that machine, and that's what I'm looking for to help me with the Pfaff. I know my local dealer has one, so maybe I'll see if she'll let me copy it.
