I'm looking for a basic pattern for a knit skirt, mid-length, petite.

I like this Kwik sew skirt if you are looking for an a-line. Kwik Sew has a variety of knit skirt patterns. The length can be adjusted if you are petite. If you are looking for a straight knit skirt, I know Burda once had such a pattern, so that may be a good place to look. New Look. simplicity, etc have knit skirts too-- often as a part of a knit wardrobe.

I have made a few of these kwik sew skirts, they all foolproof! Keep in mind it runs big, and test the waistband before sewing it onto the skirt.

My favorite is Christine Jonson's base wear two...great tee too!
