Date: 1/1/13 3:43 PM I just got a sewing machine from a lady I go to church with. It doesn't work, but in the hunt to find someone who can fix it, I find myself in a bind. I am unable to find anything on in on the internet. It say it is a Cariole 1303 on the front, but the foot pedel says Singer. Does anyone know anything about this sewing machine? I am grateful for any help that can be given. |

It may be similar to another model so someone could help.

Date: 1/1/13 5:04 PM I think Koyo made the Cariole. Any decent sewing machine mechanic should be able to service it for you. As for the Singer foot control, it's possible that the original foot control was lost and the Singer plug fit. ------

Date: 1/1/13 5:44 PM Not able to give any concrete help, Ducky, but I have a department store branded vintage machine that has a Brother foot control and it is my go-to machine for almost everything. Once you get yours going, I hope it is the same for you.  ------

I wasn't able to find information about the manufacturer for your machine. Don't bother with the link for the manual on the abc site. It's a waste of time and it doesn't have your machine. That site is just a list of other sites.
However, K-bid lists one on their auction site (http://www.k-bid.com/cgi-bin/mnarclist.cgi?klosteria/2010052503/category/SEWING-MACHINE).
Perhaps they have more information about the machine. Info@K-Bid.com.
