Date: 1/3/13 6:55 AM I can't sew stretch fabrics so I need something which gives the look but doesn't stretch. Any suggestions?

That Clara Bow dress seems all about the drape. It's a figure-hugging dress, in a woven -- which makes me wonder if the bodice and skirt have been cut on the bias.

Date: 1/3/13 12:43 PM Rayon is a woven and will definitely give you the drapiness you need for this dress. Cottons are a lot stiffer so I don't think they'll work very well. ------ Judy |
